Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 September 2026
These terms apply when you use the CouldU website, web app and Android app (together, the “service”), which is operated by CouldU (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
1. The service
CouldU is a task manager. It lets you record tasks, put them in priority order, track their status, and note who requested them and when they’re due. CouldU is currently in early access, so creating an account requires an access code, and features may change as we improve it.
2. Your account
- You must give us an accurate email address and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
- One account is for one person. Don’t share your account or your access code.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
3. Your content
The tasks and other information you put into CouldU (“your content”) belong to you. You give us permission to store, process and display it, only as needed to run the service for you. That includes keeping it on our hosting provider’s systems, and keeping backups and a history of changes.
You’re responsible for your content. In particular, you confirm that you have the right to store anything you enter, including any information about other people, such as the name of someone who asked you to do something, and that it doesn’t break the law or anyone’s rights. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.
4. Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- use the service for anything unlawful, harmful or abusive;
- try to access other people’s accounts or data, or test the security of the service without our written permission;
- interfere with or overload the service, including with automated requests that aren’t part of normal use;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it regardless of this term; or
- upload malicious code, or content you don’t have the right to use.
If you break these rules we may warn you, suspend your access or close your account, depending on how serious it is.
5. Availability and changes
We work to keep CouldU running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the service, for example for maintenance or as it develops. If we make a significant change, we’ll try to give you notice. Please keep your own copy of anything you can’t afford to lose.
6. Ending your use of the service
You can stop using CouldU at any time. To have your account and data deleted, email us at support@couldu.app from the address on your account. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or if we have to stop offering the service. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as 3, 8, 9 and 10) will continue after your account ends.
7. Our rights
The CouldU name, logo, software and design belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you the right to use the service, not to own any part of it.
8. No warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind about it, including that it will meet your needs, be uninterrupted, or be error-free.
9. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we’re not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit, or opportunity, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that can’t be excluded or limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [[GOVERNING_LAW]]. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of [[GOVERNING_LAW]], except that if you’re a consumer, you keep any rights you have to bring a claim in your home courts under mandatory local law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date above, and if the change is significant we’ll tell you in the service or by email. If you keep using CouldU after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
